Job Description

Sales Director will be responsible for the overall Sales function of the organization. His duties include, Sales team management, planning, and overseeing company's overall sales and sales strategy. They are responsible to manage the sales team and ensure company’s sales and profit targets are achieved. In addition, they are required to manage relationships with principals, partners and customers to plan and manage the overall business growth.

Job Requirements

• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

• Relationship with principal teams

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and open new business avenues

• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

• Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

• Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

• Managing and leading a team of sales people, recruiting the best resources for exceptional performance, ensuring that the Team is motivated and challenged.

• Unwavering customer focus

• Upsell and Cross sell to existing and new customers

• Plan demand generation activities in collaboration with principal team

• Hiring best team to perform and exceed targets

• Deal with some Key pet customer accounts/market segment

• Forecast accuracy and linearity with the sales team

• Increased sales revenue achievement of associated bookings and margin targets and predictable and reliable forecasts of Sales team


• Ultimately ensure Sales and Profit targets are achieved through own and teams efforts



• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

Has similar experience of managing sales force of an IT company

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
