Solution Architect / Technical Lead

Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to join our fast-paced team and play a key role in designing and implementing industry-leading solutions. We are seeking a strong candidate who can leverage their technical knowledge and broad in-field experience to drive the design and implementation of our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design and document high-quality end-to-end solutions to meet the customer’s requirements that are fit for purpose, scalable and secure

·         Lead technical teams across multiple projects effectively, delegating work as appropriate to use people and resources to best effect

·         Support the planning for the technical workstream, ensuring deliverables meet the project milestones

·         Define and challenge customer business and technical requirements to ensure strategies and solutions are aligned with customer needs

·         Provide technical governance and assurance for proposed solutions throughout the delivery life cycle

·         Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution design and delivery

·         Where required, deep-dive key initiatives to help overcome technical incidents, complex problems, and/or realise opportunities.

Requirements:

·         All round competence in Application, Integration, Data, Technology and Security architecture

·         Good understanding of SaaS, Cloud hosting and Integration technologies

• Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications

·         Broad understanding of software development lifecycle with experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies

·         Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have excellent attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines

·         Ability to think strategically and present technical concepts in an uncomplicated manner confidently to an executive audience with well-summarised, concise information

·         Ability to independently lead teams and execute on responsibilities with minimal guidance and oversight.

·         Strong analytical skills and ability to make data driven decisions.

• Able to thrive in fast paced environments with frequent change as standard
• A strong teamwork ethic with a proven ability to work collaboratively

·         Professional qualifications such as ITIL3, TOGAF, etc

·         Excellent English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

·         Experience in the CPG, Retail, ERP sectors is highly beneficial.
