Sr. Oracle EBS Financials Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Description

Summary: Configure and maintain Oracle EBS financials and all integrated modules.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide techno-functional support for the Oracle E-Business Suite and help the support team deliver projects and initiatives being prioritized

2. Build interface solutions for data migrations

3. Build inbound and outbound interfaces

4. Update workflow

5. Update and Create PL/SQL packages

6. Develop and maintain OA framework

7. Develop Oracle reports

8. Provide peer code reviews

9. Elicit and understand functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver software solutions

10. Financials master data setup and management

11. Modular/organization level setup & configuration

12. Requirements gathering and documentation for business changes.

13. Work with technical team to deliver user requirements.

14. Understanding how the system should be set up

15. Data base schema understanding

16. Setup EBS form level personalization to enable quick controls

17. Liaise directly with business user to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion.

18. Provide day to day application support

19. Assist support team to sort out day to day support issues in standard and customized application.

20. Identifying persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes.

21. Providing end user application and functionality training.

22. Creating test plans and coordinating testing with the relevant business users.

23. Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus￾building.

24. Help ensure that ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling, and management processes.

25. Assist with risk management and change management on projects.

26. Customization technical understanding and support

Skills

Oracle EBS financial (AP, AR, CASH, GL, Fixed Asset, Projects)

• Oracle PL/SQL Developer

• Client-Server application development using Oracle 11g/10g/9i/8i, PL/SQL, SQL *PLUS, TOAD and SQL*LOADER.

• Oracle EBS, Oracle Workflows

• Strong knowledge of oracle EBS interface tables

• Strong knowledge of oracle EBS API’s.

• Strong knowledge of oracle EBS table structure of related modules.

• Ability to quickly get up to speed on any project or technology

Good Verbal communication and having well command in written communication.
