As a QA Manager automation, you should have a deep understanding of automation testing concepts, frameworks, and tools. You should be well-versed in popular automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or others relevant to your domain. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or Ruby is essential.
You should have the ability to design comprehensive test plans and strategies for automation testing. This involves identifying test objectives, defining test coverage, selecting appropriate test cases, and designing reusable automation frameworks.
In addition to automation, you should have a solid understanding of overall quality assurance processes. This includes knowledge of test management, defect tracking, test reporting, and metrics analysis.
Design, develop and extend our test automation suite
Work closely with development teams to shake out bugs early in the development process
Drive bug prioritization and develop a deep understanding of our product
Monitor tools to track performance of our backend systems and test their load capacity
Ability to understand Customer Use cases and ensure product quality in a large complex environment
Document systems-level defects, using Jira tracking system, and reports defects to developers.
Analyze and pinpoint the issue, and support resolving the issue
