Our client is currently looking to hire a Technical Trainer. We are looking for a dynamic, responsive individual who can work well in a fast-paced and lively environment. The Trainer will work closely with the team member(s) technically enabling them to support client ‘s network and systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and manage training programs.

Customized Virtual Classroom Training

Provide editorial oversight of technical documents to ensure consistent, relevant, and meaningful messaging, and that language is clear and understandable.

Delivering training sessions per assigned schedule.

Mentoring and assessing participant’s performance as needed.

Providing articles related to the industries we service.

Support different training tasks within the Department as needed.

Host Collaborative Learning Sessions as needed.

Collaborating with the Recruiting team by offering Candidate mentoring sessions.

Completing participant’s assessment forms as required.

Work with technical subject matter experts on identifying technical training content requirements.

Collaborate with Knowledge Team colleagues on upcoming product knowledge/training needs.

Deliver single to multi-day training or other learning experiences in-person or virtually with minimal supervision.

Focus on training courses that are typically limited to a single topic area or specialization.

Leverage a variety of delivery methods, including presentations, discussions, labs, and simulations, to deliver training.

Engage with learners to ensure content and concepts are understood and aligned with learner goals.

Use independent decision-making to design and develop training materials, reference materials, presentation materials and job aids.

Provide second level support and coordinate training with help desks.

Participate in hands-on lab activities to further build upon learning.

Skills

Experience developing and delivering technical training.

Understand computer functions and related technical terminology and how they are applied in everyday business situations.

Possess thorough knowledge of appropriate hardware and software (ex. - PCs, Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Office, and applications such Adobe and others.
